HUMANISTAN

Citizenship

Humanistan citizenship begins with the fact of being human.

Humanistan does not grant the underlying belonging its citizenship is intended to express. Every human being is already inside the human circle.

You do not apply for citizenship. You already have it.

A different kind of citizenship

Ordinary citizenship distinguishes those who belong to a political community from those who do not. Humanistan deliberately uses the idea differently. Its human circle has no human outsider.

The right to reject the name

Humanistan does not claim authority over anyone's identity. A person may reject Humanistan completely, refuse to call themselves a Citizen, or criticize the entire idea. Humanistan's underlying proposition is simpler: disagreement cannot make someone less human.

No special status

Joining Humanistan does not make anyone more human, more enlightened, more worthy, or more of a Citizen than anyone else. There are no superior Citizens.

We are all human.
Wherever you are, whoever you are.
